This is a picture of my sister and her daughter during their wave runner excursion off of Marco Island in December, 2007.  Looks like FUN!  I asked my sister to write a bit about their adventure:

     "I booked a wave runner tour through Marco Adventures (239-394-TOUR).  Their website is www.marcoadventures.com .  Our tour departed from Caxambas Park at 909 Collier Court.  The cost was $225 per wave runner and each unit could hold up to 2 adults or 1 adult/2 children.   My daughter and I took the tour.  It was AMAZING!!  Having not operated a wave runner before, I wasn’t sure if I could do it.  Captain Ron was GREAT and provided excellent instructions.  The units were easy to maneuver.  We saw some AWESOME areas of Marco Island.  Captain Ron was a wealth of knowledge having lived in Marco Island his entire life.  We stopped at an island for shelling so make sure you take a zip lock bag with you.  It was some of the best shelling I had during my entire trip to Marco Island.  On our tour, Captain Ron took us to areas where Manatees and Dolphins swim.  I didn’t see the Manatees but many in our group did.  We saw several dolphins and one swam up to our wave runner.  You could even hear them–we were so close.  Captain Ron will take many photos during your adventure.  He also gives you a CD of all the footage he shoots.  You definitely get more than what you paid for with this tour.  Will DEFINITELY go again!!  My son wants to make sure his next trip to Marco includes Captain Ron’s wave runner tour.  DON’T MISS THIS ONE!!!"
